As with any extension tube, this adapter is designed to extend the maximum magnification ratio of any Canon FD lens mounted to any Canon FD SLR system. Please note this adapter was intended to be used with the Canon Macro FD 50mm f/3.5 lens, enabling it from a 1:2 magnification ratio to a 1:1 magnification ratio.
